96 xp bogs out until it warms up

I have a 96 xp that wont run but 15mph for about 2or 3 minutes. Then it runs fine. If you let it sit it will do it all over again. It wasn't doing this till I changed the fuel selector switch. i changed it because it would only run on reserve. i changed fuel lines fuel filter cleaned carbs. And took the gas tank out and cleaned it. now it doesn't matter if it is on reserve or regular it does it. can someone help me.

When you cleaned everything, did you clean the two check valves? One allows air in and the other allows air out. You can try and easy way, ride it, and open the gas cap to allow air to flow freely.

I had another guy that took them apart i doubt he did that I will try the gas cap. he said the filters in the carbs were black and gunked up. I ts just weird because it just started doing this when i changed the fuel selector. It would run fine before on reserve
