'96 Speedster I'd like more speed

My '96 Speedster only revs to 6200 WOT, About 52 mph. Would changing rev limiters help? The impellers and wear-rings need changing too, but will that affect top end?

My 96 Speedster revs out to 7000RPM and I can only muster a GPS confirmed 46MPH, if you are getting a GPS 52MPH out of 6000RPM I would think that is hella good.

Shouldn't Grampa's be cruising? :cheers:

My prob is my friends all go just liiitle faster. Why can't I rev higher than 6200? And now one of my starters has to come off! How the heck do you get to the bottom bolt!?

Might want to check your throttle cables if you are only seeing 6000rpm.
