Does any body know what the how fast as in mph a 96 xp with a 787 should be (stock)

about 55-56 mph. depending on rider weight, water conditions, trim setting, and how good of shape your jet pump.

Mine says 62 by the factory spedo so that probably about right. Thanks for the info.

yeah the factory one can be a little to way off. my friend was on he xp-l and swore up and down he was doing 70, till we gps'ed him at 61 lol.

ya i think mine will hit 60 on glass water but can always do at least 50 which is fast and fun enouh, keeps with the new big boys pretty good
