Weird, I've heard of this before, but haven't experienced it on my skis with the info gauge. If I had to guess, something tells the info gauge to track hours when the ski is running, and I'd think the tachometer would be the only thing that would activate it. So, after a while if it stays on and can't track hours.....that's what happens? It shows..----? but I'm not sure of that, I'm just rationalizing why.

And you say everything is displaying as you advance through modes? tach, time, timer?

Yeah, all the modes work, as well as the VTS gauge and the fuel gauge all work as well
