96 GTX overvoltage problem

Hi guys, I know this topic has been discussed before, but I’m really pulling my hair out on this one. My 96 GTX has had a overcharging condition for a long time now. I have replaced the stator, Voltage regulator, and Ran a ground from the battery, to the CDI box. This thing is producing up to 17 V DC, and up to 37 V AC. Can anyone help? I’m desperate.

SEE other post....17 V DC might be a little high for output from the rectifier/regulator.

The stator can produce anywhere from 25 V AC (idle) to approx 75 V AC (full throttle).

The output from a rectifier/regulator should be DC voltage.
