I haven't been on the forum for many years. When I owned a jet boat, I received lots of help, but sold that about 6 years ago or more. I have twin 96 GTI's. Have used them just a few times this year. At the end of a long day, 1 of them started running a little strange. It would run full speed, no issues for about a city block, them act like the gas was choked off. Relase the throttle for a few seconds, then it would take off great for a while and do the same thing. Took it out of the water, checked for anything that could be in the pump area or gate, nothing. Back in the water. Sometimes at low speed, wouldn't accelerate, let up on throttle, let it "settle down" and takes off like a race car.

Thermostat wire was off, but that doesn't seem like it would have anything to do with the problem.

Brought it home. Checked fuel filter at tank, clear. Checked fuel filter in both carbs, clear.

I tried searching forums and apparently didn't seem to know how to word my question, since I couldn't find anything. Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance!!
