96 gsx no start beeps 4 times

Hello everyone. Here is my scenario....battery was dead, put on trickle charger and battery was just over 10v when disconnected. It was reading around 12.5v when connected. What happens is I put lanyard to post and it beeps twice like normal but then beeps 4 times after that and wont turn over or click when I pushed the start button, also beeps 4 times if I push the start button . I have looked this up on forums to no avail and talked to a seadoo tech and he told me he has never heard of it beeping 4 times. Please help me out with this one.

Are you getting 4 rapid beeps every so often as long as the key is in place?
Or...
Are you getting 4 long beeps after the 2 chirps? (which seems strange on this model ski) Your battery voltage should be about 12.5 when connected. When you turn the engine over for starting the voltage drops to about 11.6 I'd be concerned if it was below 11.5volts when starting the ski.

2 short chirps when I attach the key and then 4 long beeps after that. It does not keep beeping after that unless I push the start button it will give me 4 long beeps again. I'll check the battery voltage while pushing start button to see what happens when I get home from work today and keep you updated. Thank you for the response.

My 96 gtx was doing that four long beeps indicates no communication with cdi. I ended up changing relay in front electrical box and problem solved
