96 GSX No Compression on One Cylinder

Was running great the last time out, then it just wouldnt start. Have 0 compression on front cylinder, the rear has 140psi. Pulled off the head, did not see anything obvious looked like rings were still intact. Not sure what i need to do or check. Did notice that the front piston was alot cleaner looking than the rear (not sure if that means anything). Any advice would be great! Thanks

Should have done a wet test to verify the piston condition, only use a teaspoon of light oil, screw it together again and retake the test - that first push into the guage will tell ya a lot, clean piston may be burnt lean - look carefully at the top edges of the piston to determine if the ring land is still there, were any sparkly fragments on the plug?
