I'm helping a buddy freshen up his 95xp800 and we took apart and inspected his exhaust valve and noticed it was highly corroded and missing some parts the parts missing are the rubber part and stainless washer as seen as part#26 in the microfieshe

It looks as if the bellow also needs to be replaced. The two missing parts are not available but it looks like the whole assembley can be purchased for 253.00 on the site store.
We are having a hard time tracking down aftermarket and or new oem parts what would you guys suggest and or could this valve be bypassed by getting an aftermarket water box?

The water regulator on the 95XP800's is a one year, one model part. It is alloy where as all future ones are plastic. At this point it probably does need bellows but I don't think your missing any parts because the shown breakdown is of the later ones. The later ones will screw right on and work fine but they probably will need a rebuild as well unless you get it from Minnatonka4me or someone else that knows what's good and bad and has integrity.

Ok thanks, yep I couldn't find the diagram for the 95 800 so I was going off the 96,but that explains the missing parts he has a manual but his dad has it on a cd and he still needs to pic it up. I will probably pm Minnetonka4me if he doesn't chime in I figured he would have something that would work. Thanks for the help!!

Ok so I just talked to my buddy and were thinking that the bellow and clip are they only parts that need to be compleatly replaced. Are the bellows interchanagable with the later years? And if so is the site store the best place to buy it looks like both parts are in stock and the bellows are 39.00.

Yes the bellow should be the same as the latter ones. I would never spend $253 for a new one. Not being near a pc is killing me. The only differences in these valves would be the top spring and the calibrated fitting, and between craft I have seen the price vary so much. I forget what I paid for the last few I bought but it was just a little over a hundo, not $253.

Ok cool thanks Racer don't worry we're not going to spend $253. When you bought the last few were they new old stock?

Nope, just ordered online from a dealer. I'll get the part number I bought when I get home, probably tomorrow.
