I purchased a 98 GTX that had been sitting for a couple of years not running, under 100 hrs on motor. Last fall I rebuilt the entire fuel system with factory kits, new lines, filter, and selector switch. Drained all old fuel out of the tank also. I had a chance to run it briefly once at the end of the season and it ran great for the short ride it was on. I put it in today and tried to run it and it was missing here and there but was running, ran it for a few more minutes at various RPM and it cleaned up a bit. I was running just below WOT and it started running really rough, I thought something got stuck in the pump. I was able to go up to 4000-4500 rpm smoothly until it started shaking and running rough so I just took it back an parked it. Once on the trailer there was nothing in the pump. I think one of the cylinders is not firing at high rpm but not sure where to start with on this one. Plugs are new also. The battery is older but starts the ski fine. Any suggestions would be great on what to try. Compression good on both cylinders also at 130.
