95 speedster maneto trouble, i think

HI again
I have a 95 speedster with twin rotax 657 motors.
I have had some trouble starting the engines, i think i have traced it to the magnetos, bypassed the mpem system and still get no pulse from magneto to engine and no spark of course. Is there any other tests i can do to make sure the problem is the magneto?
Purchased boat last week and was running perfect, picked up next day, trailered 20 minutes to my dock and could not get engine 1 to fire, engine 2 fired perfect.
Took it back to marina i bought it from and he tried changing plugs a few times, then he said he changed the coils and nothing different so he changed them back. now engine 1 & 2 have no spark, could he have fried the 2nd magneto or could the problem lie somewhere else, i do not want to buy new magnetos if i don't have to.
ALSO, does anyone know where i can get new magneto(s) for 95 speedster?

I can get magnetos for you if needed although they rarely ever go bad, check to see if stator shorted out. pull main engine plug and check to see if yellow wires have continuity. if so, theres a short in it. could also be pick up assemby. check all fuses as well. is dess lanyard on?
