94 xp very low compression

Hi all, new to the forum and new to pwc's. I have a 94 Sea-Doo xp, long story short, I was riding on my lake a couple weeks ago and it just died on me, wasn't able to get it started again. So I bought a compression gauge, the front cylinder has perfect 150 psi, the back cylinder is at 30 psi. Big difference! My question is, what do you all think needs to be done and at what cost? And is it something someone with my inexperience can handle on my own?

At a minimum a new top end at about $500 all said and done but if it is the original crank you are on borrowed time and should replace it too.
