I've been trying to get my 1992 GTX to start with no luck. I opened up the MPEM and the box was dry and both the 5 amp and 15 amp fuses were good. We noticed no spark to the plugs. Upon further testing we found that we have no resistance between any part of the coil to ground. I do have resistance from spark plug wire to the other spark plug wire, but, no resistance from the primary (red/black wire) to ground or from the secondary wires to ground. Does anyone have the resistance values for the primary side to ground and the resistance values for the secondary windings to ground. It seems to me the coil is bad. Do you agree or could I be overlooking something.:willy_nilly:

If I'm reading this correctly, the CDI Module resistance should be 150k ohm. The Black/red wire should be the pos lead. I hope this helps.
