So one of the casting plugs on my tuned pipe got a pinhole last weekend... Took it out last night to grind off the plugs and found some more half-baked work done on this thing.
Among them, there was what i thought was a snapped bolt head in one of the tuned pipe to manifold holes. After looking at the parts catalog i realize this is an M10 stud and the end of it has been sheered off somehow so i will have to replace it.
Catalog just says it's an M10 stud, anyone know how long it is?
Also, I assume it's there more for re-installation purposes to help align everything. Would it hurt anything if i just replaced it with an M10x30 like the other three? Despite living in the land of Metric, it's hard finding metric hardware at a B&M store... hoping to get my pipe back tonight and want to hit the lake this weekend.
Also, the shop manual has nothing i could see on R&R of the tuned pipe. Is there anything i need to take care with when re-installing?
