This was an interesting problem. Prepping the boat for first launch sea trial, in the garage, with the hose connection, and after 3-5 minutes the alarm activated. Went after the obvious items, filters, cooling system restriction, no change. Broke down and purchased the Rinda Diacom software, because I have another boat, and observed the starboard temperature sensor reaching 176 degrees, seconds before the alarm activated. The port sensor indicated 148 degrees, so I assumed the issue was a restriction in the sensor port. I looked in the manual and found the starboard sensor is an inch or so higher in elevation then the port sensor.

The last time I connected the boat to a water source, I used an old 5/8th id diameter hose. This year we discarded the hose, and utilize a new hose that expands when pressurized and shrinks when drained. I borrowed the neighbors old hose, connected it to the boat and no alarm. I reconnected the Diacom software and now the temperature sensors indicate 102 degrees.

I have to share this.
