Hello everyone, I have a bit of a dilemma with my ski, It keeps oil fouling the map sensor with milky oil, I have pulled the intercooler line off of the throttle body and very little moisture came out while kicking the rpms up and the presence of oil was not like I have seen in other ski's, a friend of mine has a buds system which is what led us to the map sensor, we clean it of the oil milk and run it without flaw for 45 mins with no issue, bam the check engine light will flash, and sure enough milk on the sensor again, I have seen others have installed a catch can but this ski only has 40 hours on it , anyone else run into this ? sorry for the run on sentence

You might have a leaking intercooler, oil level too full and it's blowing back through the supercharger, failed oil separator, what does the engine oil look like? Easy to pressure test the intercooler , there should be no moisture in the intake system , it only gets water through the intercooler while the ski is in the water and not on the trailer. Look at the plugs , are they rusty?

The goofy thing about this Ski, it will fill the oil level up a bit after riding, but it never gets milky like I have gotten water in there, the coolant level never moves so I would have to rule out the oil cooler leaking, The plugs are not rusty but a little dark for what i would expect but not fouled

I believe the IC runs off the lake water only,,,,it will have nothing to do with the coolant reservoir.

Thanks for the reply Popps, Digdog mentioned the oil cooler in his post which is why I mentioned it.
You are mistaking the Intercooler which cools the intake air with water from the lake or sea with an oil cooler which cools the oil using the closed loop system that circulates mixed coolant. Intercoolers when they leak either from failure or poor winter preparation can introduce water into the intake system and cause milky oil in either the intake or crankcase. It is not uncommon to have a little oil in the intake system due to the crankcase vent discharging into the the supercharger , or you can have alot of oil if say the oil separator has failed or you over fill the oil level. Parts failures such as valve seals are also a cause of oil in the intake system , and the intercooler will only add water to the intake if the ski is in the water because it gets it from the jet pump. If there was any , even a small amount in the intake then you have an intercooler leak and it is probaly causing the MAPS sensor issue.

"Update" I took the intercooler out and set it on its side and in the time, it took me to close my garage door and come back this is how much water was laying in there. Thank you, guys, for sending me in the right direction
