Just got 2017 Sea-Doo, hasn't been tan in a year except for periodic start your in a garage. Put it in water the other day, running rough and vibrating, doesn't want to run wide open, will if forced to (I only gunned it for a few seconds, neither one of us liked it!). Took the intake grate off and cleaned some very minor stuff from between the prop and wear ring, runs a tiny bit better but still sounds like it's missing a little. Never owned one before, know very little about them. What's my next step? Change the plugs and try it again?

That’s exactly what I would do. Ensure you get the OEM plugs. I use NGK for my 2018 GTIs. While in there, I’d also change the oil, filter, and filter gasket. It’s not too bad of a job, and takes me about 2 hours for 2 skis.

Thanks man! It's only got 92 hrs on it, talked to the place that sold it to my friend that gave it to me. They said they did their last (and first!) service to it in 2017 (year it was bought), service guy suggested the same as you and to empty out the old gas (tank is full) as well and put new in. Got oil, filter, extractor pump & new plugs on the way. Hopefully that straightens her out!
