2010 gti 155 se overheating

Yesterday I took my gti se out and about 1 hour in the high temperature pilot lamp came on with constant beep then went into limp mode then when I put it on the trailer everything went back to normal .i checked all the fluids and everything was good.

I’m open for any suggestions.

Two things I’ve seen with my 2012 GTI 155 LTD. First, Make sure that the coolant in the reservoir is less a than halfway between the low and high marks. I’ve had to dump some in the past. Another possibility could be that you sucked up some thing that is blocking off the water flow in the exhaust cooling. I’m not a Sea-Doo mechanic but this might be some easy things for you to check before taking it in.
