2010 Challenger Wake tower cracked at weld.

Boat hates me and is bleeding the wallet at every turn.

Port side lower broke complete off right at weld. Bolts are not wanting to come out… was hoping to take to a qualified aluminum welder since I can’t find the right part for the OEM XTP tower.

I found this part (204950239) but my boat is opposite of this. The part on the hull is the “V” and the tube is single slot. This part is reversed.

take it off and bring it to your local welding shop. I have brought many parts to my local welding shop for repair, and he always fixes the part and the price is always fair.

pulling it apart tomorrow to do just that

Of course the bottom bolt does not want to budge. Time for a lot of penetrating oil and patience is in order now. Not sure I want to apply heat based on location of bolt to fiberglass and cushion.
Tape is to try and keep it from coming apart and hitting fiberglass.

I'd take it to the welder with it on the boat, see what he says. Maybe he can TIG weld it in place? If it's aluminum it'll dissipate the heat pretty well and hopefully not mess up the fiberglass

Do not have access to the trailer (boat sits on the water on a lift) right now as the axle bearings froze and it is at my brothers waiting repair.

Figured out how to get to underside. It’s at the welders now.

They had to drill out the old bolt and get her welded back up.

All done and back together.
