its been sitting a while and trying to resurrect it. in process of cleaning grounds and connectors.
Any thoughts on this?
Has:
fresh battery
new fuel pump
2 beeps with key although the display is toast
has good compression/spark.
fuel pump runs for a sec when key installed.
with fuel pump plugged in, the guage fuse blows rather quickly, if the fuel pump is unplugged, it will turnover longer before blowing the guage fuse.

Your first step is going to clean every plug/jack and put dielectric grease on them, every plug/jack. Clean the grounds, there is a big cluster on the front of the engine. They get kind of crusty, clean the mating surface on the engine and the eyelets. If that don't work you are looking for a component that is blowing the fuse. Helps to have a meter that can read DC current.

I have a meter capable of doing that. Pulled the engine fuse box, cleaned all the terminals and tightened the spades that the fuses slide into. Start solenoid was a tad rusty, cleaned all the cables that are associated with that fuse box and reconnected. In process of cleaning the ground connections on the front end of the motor. You were right, pretty crustyIMG_1012.png

So now you know the enemy you face with a boat. When some people pull their boat out of the water they leave a little bit of water in the bilge, which, in our boats in under our engines. Eventually, that water will evaporate and corrode/rust
everything that's not greased, oiled or painted.

UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE!!!!
cleaned those nasty grounds, so the guages fuse no longer blows while starting . cleaned all the coil and fuel injector connections. cleaned the injectors for proper spray. BUT........
This has me a bit bumfuzzled.
1) with the coils sitting on the valve cover and spark plugs out of the head and in the coil boots....all three spark in a pattern, spark is decent visually in all 3 but not tested with buds or multi meter.
2) reattched the 3 injectors in the rail and viually inspected spray on each one. reinstalled the injector rail back into the cyl head.
3) good compression on all three cyl
4) new battery fully charged
5) new fuel pump
6) 2 beeps with lanyard.
***the supercharger is bypassed, until it can be cleaned and inspected, didnt want any foreign unseen items flying into the combustion chamber . just have the pressure hose from the charger pointing north.
So i connected the lanyard. 2 beeps, fuel pump 5 seconds, engage starter. spins and spins. no cough, no babumbabum, no NOTHING, no backfire.
what am i missing. i tried some starting fluid while cranking over. nothing.
any thoughts????
