Hey guys, I have a 2006 GTI (base model 130hp) that just hit 100 hours. What maintenance is needed for the first 100 hours put on it? I will be doing an oil/filter change and spark plugs but I have heard there are bearings or something also that lubricated (the pump maybe?) for this maintenance interval. I'm also having the wear ring replaced too. The dealer wanted nearly $600 for the "100 hour maintenance" so I was wanting to take it to another place that does SeaDoo repairs and maintenance where the cost was about half that. Anyone have the list of things that are needed for the 100 hour maintenance so I can be sure the other shop does all required? Also, what is the proper oil change hour interval on this machine? Thanks a lot.

Do you have your owners manual? In the back there should be a table that shows what needs to get done at the respective intervals. Mine's at home right now, but I was just looking at the table last night. $600 is probably a shop rate of $165/hr for 2.5 hours and some parts. Since I assume its out of warranty anyway there's no reason to not use a qualified non-dealer mechanic.

I have about 70 hours on my 2007 GTI and need to figure out what to do at the 100 hour mark in the near future. $200-$300 might be reasonable, but $600 seems way beyond my squeal point without some really good justification.

I thought the same on the price. I have my manual so I will check, I didn't even think about it, geez. Hopefully it is in the box with the rest of my manuals! Thanks for the input - anyone else?
