2005 rxp cavitation

can the shaft seal on this seadoo allow air to be pulled into the pump and cause cavitation?? new impeller, new wear ring, new intake grate (r&d) aqavein. runs fine after it planes out but hits the rev limiter when you take off if you give it full throttle. Thanks in advance for all help.

Yes if the carbon seal is worn it could cause cavitation you could try some grease on the ring and if it goes away then replace the carbon seal

If it's letting air into the tunnel...be sure, it won't be long till it's letting water into the ski...and when it does...you better be heading to the beach.
