It's not so much a bigger impeller but one with a different pitch. As with everything though there are trade offs. Generally, an increase in top end speed will cost you out of the hole, while a quick response up on to the plane, can reduce the top end.
When we are saying it impacts on the top end, either positive or negative, you are usually only talking a couple of km/miles (you choose) per hour.

Yes more pitch is what I meant by bigger.. Ok so I will stick with the stock impeller. Other then impeller and wear ring is there anything else I should change? Bearings etc. also is there anywhere online I can buy this stuff or do I need to go to a dealer ?? Is there a procedure write up on this? I'm a mechanic I'm sure I can figure it out. Thanks

There are several online SeaDoo parts sites that you can order a prop and wear ring from, or you can go to the dealer, or you can go on ebay or amazon. You don't need to replace anything other than the prop and wear ring, or you could replace the wear ring and have the prop reconditioned.

Find a different ramp....back the trailer in deeper before starting the ski....don't operate the ski in shallow water.
If you want more...anything...you gotta change the equation. More speed...needs more power. Adding a taller prop w/o more power will cost you speed...no matter top or bottom.
Wanna go faster?...best bang for the buck is a 4" front air intake (or better)...before you add a prop. Why? Oem air intake is restrictive...let that sc breath better...more power. Assuming you're already on the limiter your ecu won't allow you to use it. So why do it? That's when you add load to the motor with a taller prop.
If you're not on the limiter...the better air intake will allow you to spin the oem prop....faster.
Aside to the mods...you all should have a sticky somewhere that addresses beginner questions like this.

Okay...see?...new information.
Filters are restrictive...no matter who makes them.
What kinda r's are you seeing at wot? How many hrs on the machine? Has the sc ever been rebuilt? if it has...why?...with what?...who did the work?

Rpm is at least 8000 sometimes alittle higher . When I bought her the dealer said they upgraded the supercharger at 40 hrs just because the owner wanted more. When I bought her she has 66 hrs and now she had 130hrs. All work waS done at the dealer I seen the paper work for it. I trust these guys I've seen skit of their work it is reliable

Okay...."upgrading" the sc prolly means they installed "upgraded" clutch washers. That's good....but you're not outa the woods yet...
How long ago was this? Do you have the receipt? You must check this. Rebuilding with upgraded washers was a good thing...if they did it. But time is the facter with rebuilds...not just hrs on the machine....but years on the bearings. The cages containing the bearings are only good for 2-3years before they too are due for replacement.
If you can get a pic inside the sc...we can prolly tell you if it's an oem wheel.
