2004 sea doo rxp with trailer

I have a 2004 rxp w/ trailer. I bought it thinking that the key needed to be programmed. I did that, then found out the ski does not start. it just make a click noise when you hit the start button. I am not sure what the problem is, but I wanted to see if anyone mechanically inclined would be interested in my ski.
