New to this forum but have a 2004 RXP that is very dull and the rubber feet rests are also dull. What is the best wax/chemicals to use for this.

TIA
Joe S.

Buff and Polish using 3m perfect it two stage creams. I forget the names of each but they're not too hard to find if you search around for it. Fantastic results on gel coat, just be careful to not stay on one spot too long or apply too much pressure or you'll burn the gel coat. For the rubber/plastic, try forever black (for black color) it's a great fade resistant plastic conditioner. You can also do the heat gun trick, but that has short term results imo. Maybe a couple months

I've used meguiars medium cut with good success, i'd just pick up your favorite compound/polish/wax and get busy.

The foot rests meaning the traction mats?
I know of nothing that will bring back the shine that won't also make them slippery as hell (which is NOT what you want)

Meguiar's M6732 Marine/RV One Step Compound - 32 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00029CYRG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_yRzbyb459XFW0
If buying from amazon click on buy from other sellers and you can eat it for $21 with free prime shipping rather than paying the $7 for shipping (assuming you're a prime member)

This is what I have used multiple times. It brings a full shine back even if the area is dull because of sanding. You can also pair it with the high gloss polish that can be found here: Meguiar's M4516 Marine/RV Polish & Gloss Enhancer - 16 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000AXMDP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_JTzbybVP0YD0Y
But I don't find the high gloss polish to be any more helpful than the one step compound.

Finally, I apply the meguiars flagship premium marine wax which can be found here: Meguiar's M6316 Flagship Premium Marine Wax - 16 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000AY60S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_uWzbybQ7G4ZBE

Using these products leaves a showroom finish with a little bit of work.
