2004 GTI LE wont get on plane... Impeller ??

2004 GTI LE was running fine all morning after idling in a no wake zone went to give gas, it wouldnt get on plane, ran it home at idle. pulled it on the dock, starts and when given gas on the dock throttles fine, put it in the water and it will only run at idle, when given gas RPM come up fine, but waverunner will not get on plane or anything? anyone have any idea ? did i burn up the impeller?
also notice in the engine compartment, toward the back of the motor it looks like either a flywheel or harmonic balance with a grease fitting on it. I have service this ski myself and have never grease that fitting?

look inside the pump assy and underneath, where intake grate is?

Need to hit that zert fitting every run.

hit that zirc fitting with some grease, lots of grease while doing that, this huge chuck of wood dropped from the impeller to the grate, looks like some sort of plastic melted on it, from ridding back about 1 mile to my house at idle , flushed the area with water , dropped the ski back in the water , and its working fine, gets on plane like old times.I am wondering if i damaged the wear ring? do you know if the wear rings are made of plastic ?
hope thats not the next thing thats gone go on this GTI !
Riva Motorsport in my area want $ 70.00 for wear ring, and $150.00 for labor, the guy told me to also change the Impeller for $250.00 not sure am gone do it, since money is tight.

anytime stud.....if all is good (that would be based on water test), then I say, ur good to go. If rpm's are there, but struggles to plane/takes awhile..then yup, need to invest in wear ring, and then take gander at impellor.
