A buddy of mine has a 2004 gti is excellent condition, well maintained, and very low hours. The thing starts great and runs strong, however its been dieing lately after full throttle to no throttle. So if your gunning it and totally let off the throttle it will die. If you slowly ease off the throttle until you reach idle your fine. Any thoughts? I tend to lean towards a carb issue, but not sure. Is there anything in the MPEP which could cause the issue? Thanks in advance.
