I bought this ski with the head removed. This little double barrel plastic fitting is strange. It doesn't look like the hose coming from the front of the head has enough mating surface to fit over it. 720 Water Diagram hose.jpeg Where does the other part of the line go? Dead end? Input is appreciated.

Appreciate it but that's the same picture. :) Looks like one end is a "Dead End"? And as I said, it just doesn't look that enough surface to attach the hoses properly. Weird. I'm looking at what is there though. I'll toss that crap if I don't need it.

I am asking about the dead end line coming off the 4-way fitting and the 4 way fitting itself. I posted the picture to help identify the fitting and the line. I am re-installing the engine so I just want to make sure I have it right. I need a little input from the group.

I appreciate the help. What manual do you have? I have all of the manuals on the skis for that year and many other years. I should be able to determine what is there but there must be a reason for the silly 4 way fitting. :)

From what I can make out is the water coming out of cylinder head is sent to the tuned exhaust pipe for cooling and then sent overboard
It also gives a small flow of water for your tell tale to say your engine is getting cooled

Ok, connects between the pipe and head.

One fitting goes up front to the pisser.

The second one makes a u-turn and goes to the small pipe fitting under this one.

Thanks guys. That helps. Those two lines that come off the bottom. I reckon one goes to the mid-pipe at the usual location. I'm trying to figure where the 2nd small line goes. Thanks !!

Hmmmmm.... I wonder why they didn't leave it like the earlier models. I'll give it all a look and report back. Looks like the MPEM is damaged on this one but who knows it might fire up. :) We'll see.
