2003 seadoo xp umi install

hey guys going to put umi on this ski. I love the x4's and thats what i have always played around with. is the umi on a xpl plug and play or is it like the x4 where you need to cut?

I don't remember having to cut. You do have to drill holes to mount the 2 stems and the support plate underneath. Originally they came with a paper pattern that would show you where to poke the holes. Mine came with stock steering(you were actually there that weekend lol) but luckily UMI had been mounted on it before so the holes were all there for me.

lol interesting, i might start that tonight since im waiting on some other parts for the engine. that ski of yours is one nice ski. i have a 97 xp right now and i thought really hard about building something close to what you had but i know i wouldnt come close to that set up.
