My 2003 GTX DI is intermittently losing power. It seems to work ok when it is cold but once it has warmed up, sometimes the engine will lose power. It seems like it is bogging down and acts almost like one cylinder is not firing. It does not do it all the time but it is happening fairly frequently.

I have taken it to my local dealer and they have checked all the basics. Plugs, injectors, fuel pump, etc. They are telling me that it is the computer. $1800.
There is almost 200 hours on the SeaDoo.

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

The rave valves were cleaned by the dealer at the end of last season. Only 3 hours on the seadoo since then. I am going to remove them again when I get a chance to take a look. I also am going to check the solenoid and air lines.

I am also going to remove the spark wires and inspect the ends for corossion.

I removed the injectors to test and clean them. They appear to be operating correctly with good spray and even delivery. There was a very small amount of corossion on the connections. I am going to reinstall them with dielectric grease on the connections this week.

I can't imagine that the MPEM is the problem. The engine works great sometimes but most of the time it starts, idles great and will speed up to a point but when you crack the throttle, it bogges down but doesn't stall.

Any other ideas?
