2003 gtx 4tec problem

Hi , I have a 2003 gtx 4tec that gives a long beep and the "check engine" light comes on after 10 to 15 minutes of operation. I shut down for a few minutes and it starts right back up and does the same thing after another 10 0r 15 min. Self diagnostic shows no codes and goes right to "END". This thing only has 33 hrs on it. Temp is normal and has full power. Any suggestions?

the 4tecs are known for having problems with the oil pressure switch. It usually will throw a code for it though. But then again you know how accurate todays electronics are!

I noticed the oil level was above the full mark before I took it out on the water but assumed the previous owner had used it that way. I have drained the oil down to the full mark and will try it out today. Will replace switch if problem continues.
