Hello every one,
I have a 2003 Sea Doo GTI LE FRI with about 40 hours on it. I have been having an issue with it intermittently not starting. When it first happened, I pulled the spark plugs to check for spark and I noticed they were both dry. I hooked up a spark plug tester and I am getting good spark. I pulled the fuel line off from the fuel rail and cranked the engine, no fuel pressure at all. I know when it is not going to start because when I plug in the key, I don't hear/feel the fuel pump priming. I replaced the fuel pump and filters. It started right up after they were replaced. I hooked it up to the garden hose, started it and let it run for 10 seconds, shut it off, tried to start it, just cranks, no fuel again. I rolled it into the garage, waited an hour, went out and it started right up. I took it to the lake the next day, started in the water about 10 times through out the day. At the last start up before heading in, same thing, cranking and no fuel. I am leaning towards the fuel pump relay but from what I found, its part of the MPEM/ECU. Has anyone dealt with an issue like this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
