I just purchased a 2002 X20 and I can’t seem to find replacement X20 decals for the side, or even an image for a vinyl shop to copy. Does anyone know of any available, or of an image that can be used to reproduce a set? I’m wanting to repaint, replace decals and clear it all but it’s looking like I may have to keep my “decent” decals on the side. Also, new to jet boats. How much smoke is normal at first start in these things? I know they should smoke a little when warming up, I just don’t know what normal is and for how long. Appreciate the help.

Decals might be available (hit and miss) on eBay. Pictures of the boat should be plenty online if your guy can recreate from photographs?

If your running a 2-stroke Mercury M2 Sportjet, then you’re always going to see some smoke, as 2-strokes do burn oil in the combustion chamber! However, you will notice more smoke when they first start as it uses a higher oil mixture ratio at first… then as the motor warms up it adjusts the mixture. If you are seeing a lot of smoke all of the time, then maybe something has gone off with that system?

Appreciate the follow up. No luck yet online or eBay, other than an alternative design someone did. I showed the vinyl shop some of the boat images I found online and none of them were good enough to get a clear print with the size the decals are. As far as the smoke, it is the 240 M2. I haven’t taken out yet to see what the smoke looks like after it warms up, I’ve just had it running briefly at the house. Just wanted to know what to be prepared for. Thanks
