2002 rx - warm engine start is sluggish

I have a 2002 RX, the past two times I have had it out, it starts fine and runs fine off the trailer, but after turning the engine of for a few minutes it is sluggish and will choke off after restarting. It idles fine and after a few minutes of idling it will run as it should again. Has anyone had a similar experience with this setup? I recently rebuilt the carbs and replaced the fuel lines, and spark plugs. Thanks

Did you use OEM carb kit and needle and seats?. If not, they are probably leaking and flooding the engine. One other thing that could cause the same thing is if you're pressure relief valve is not functioning. Pressure will build up to a point that the carbs will pop off and flood the engine.

The low speed check valve get replaced? It can cause load up. You have to check pop off too. The needle and seat are basic rebuild replacements. The Sticky on Crabs above forum has a lot of information on carbs, rebuilds and tuning.
