I have a 2002 GTS and winteriz it everyyear. This year as well as last at the start of the year the unit will not start up, no fire, just turns over again and again, I have to take the spark plug out and pour gas into the cylinder. Once I do that it fires up instantly and will run. It will also restart again and again. A week later it will not start and I have to do the same thing again.
Had alot of issues starting the unit in the water as well last year, it would start fine then run for 15 mins, then have issues holding the idle, I adjusted the idle higher but know that is not the permanent answer. It would also fire and not start, almost like I had flooded it.
Another question, I hook up the hose to the back, start it and turn on the water. I read that I shouldnt do this for long as there is a seal I can burn out. What is the correct amount of time to run it if the hose is connected?
