Hello ,New to forum and new seadoo owner,I bought my 2001 gtx 2 weeks ago and took it out for the 4th time and was cruising along and it started putting ,but not like a gas spudder.Brought it back in and checked and had spark but heard the back piston slapping a little on rear piston and also had no compresion .so my buddy tookoff the head cover and the front piston looks like it was burnt like normal but back piston looked clean like new and this is the one with no compresion. so looked at the oil intake port and thing that puts oil on piston (sorry dont know name)and it had like dry carbon stuff on it.so we figure it wasent getting oil because at the oil connection hose clamp for the rear piston had a little crack and might have been leaking oil or getting air? looking for any help please ,ask me anything!!!Thanks Rich

well, the oil pump could have failed and that would definitely cause engine failure. If the engine leaned out from fuel deprivation then the plugs would melt and detonation would blow the engine. Either way you are going to need a new engine or rebuild the current one.
