2000 XPL drain line hose?

trying to figure out this hose in the front of the ski going to the rear exit with an arrow? this ski was taken apart when I got it so I'm not able to dig through memory.

The one with the arrow should go to the side of the block and drains the cylinder. It shouldn't run up to the front of the engine like your second picture.

oh I thought the drain line was 8mm/ 1/4, that's a 12mm hose, and below that there is a 1/4 clear hose that runs to the same spot under the motor by the front also I thought that was the drain line? what would that be for?

I remember the 12mm ones being the feed up to the top of the cylinder and the pipe.

I am pretty sure the 8mm cylinder drain hose connects to the garden hose fitting that your arrow is pointed to. I think it necks down in size on the inside of the hull.

so I wasnunder the impression from the manual this 1/4 line goes to the cylinder head exit and I was confused about the 12mm hose above it? so this 12mm hose goes to the cylinder head and then the 1/4 that is also under the motor currently goes?

thanks man I appreciate it! I almost bought another complete project just to figure this out lol all my yamahas just run the pissers out of the front so working on my first seadoo hasn't been the easiest.

Correct, only two 12mm hoses. One goes under the pipe and the other on the top middle of the cylinder. I just don’t remember where the two connect at the pump side.

ok so this clear line that's a 1/4 line is the cylinder discharge that goes to the back under the other 12mm hose. and the 2nd 12mm hose will go to the coffman pipe thats not installed yet which i should of just mocked up to get a better visual of all this.

well the water lines on the pipe are and I jetted the carbs, I just needed to figure out if that clear 1/4 in line was the cylinder exit and I believe it is and got it all hooked up today, just have to finish putting the new sponsons on then I can get the water box mounted and pipe in and wrap this up.
