2000 Sea doo Speedster

I just bought a 2000 Seadoo Speedster. How do I figure out if it has the 210Hp motor or the 240HP? And, what makes it have more HP over the other? The guy I bought it from doesn't have a clue. My local Seadoo dealer sucks and is not helpful. Anyone? Thanks, J.J.

I think the 210 is carb vs. the 240 is efi. If you can't tell under the hood the carb will probably have a choke on the dash somewere.

That is correct 210 is Carbed while the 240 is EFI and the 250 was the DFI Optimax Engine. If you become a premium member, the manual for the 210, 240 is in the manuals section. It is one manual for the 210 and 240. The optimax 250 is a different engine and manual

Well it is a EFI motor. So I guess it's 240 HP. Thanks for the help.:hurray:
