2000 Sea doo GTX

I have a 2000 Sea doo GTX, and when i unwrapped it from the winter and put in the key, the 'beep beep' sounds and when i click the starter nothing happens but the faintest click. brand new battery, fresh spark plugs. any ideas?

I would go back and double check that battery wires 1 more time. It sounds like its a battery problem.

Battery cables corroded internally when it sat.

but why does it make that beeping noise? the gauges and stuff work...

mine did that to. everything would work and beep but when i tryed to start there was a click. i took the battery out and took it to get tested and they said i had a dead cell in the battery, most likely due to water getting in it. so i had to get a new battery. to test it yourself, take it out and use a volt meter. set it to DC volts and put red to + and black to -. if it reads anything less than 12 volts like 10 volts or something its a bad battery.

check your battery,if it tests good then change your starter relay thn you will be good to go
