My 2000 Seadoo GSX RFI suddenly started showing "12 volt low" on the gauge when running. I hooked a volt meter up to it while running which showed the battery at ~11.75 volts when running and 12.10 when the engine was not running. As I increased the RPM's while testing the battery, the voltage began to decline. I'm assuming the rectifier is the problem.
Is it possible to replace the rectifier with a unit from an automobile's alternator?
