Some where in the process of tuning my seadoo 717 i am missing something, Before i explain the problem let me tell you what it has had done to it. motor taken apart new bottom end , piston rings as the pistons looked great , new mag plate . motor was checked for air leak and tested good. Carb was rebuild with all mikuni parts it has 2.0 N&S with Gold Spring , pop off pressure is 34 psi, All grey gas lines have been replaced , all filters either replaced or cleaned. The gas on/Res valve has been taken out washed and blown out.
The ski starts great and idles fine in the water it flys out of the hole to about 1/3 throttle and than boggs down not a hesitation but a bogg until i get to about 3/4 throttle and than runs perfect crisp and fast, I have done plug runs going long distance across the lake WOT and than killing it and checking plugs they look great mag plug is just a half shade darker but both plugs are a very nice even dark brown.
Now i cant get the bogg out from 1/3 to 3/4 throttle what am i missing. the low speed adjustment is out 1 1/4 turn and there appears to be no hesitation coming out of the hole, dose not shut down idles great. One other thing the gas is premixed with amsoil mixing 3.2 oz of oil to a ga. of gas.
To me it acts as if its getting to much gas in mid range , but able to burn it off in WOT.
Any ideas or help would be appraciate. let me know if you need more info
