Hello Everyone

I'm currently testing a 1999 GTX Ltd with the carb 951 engine. The engine was just rebuilt and still on the break in tank with 50:1 oil in addition of the oil injection system.
I'm trying to get 100% sure that I set up the throttle cable correctly as the shop manual is somehow contradicting to me.
the way I did it:
first adjust the adjuster (before the cable splits to oil pump and carb) so that the TPS switch reads 5VDC from 0 to approx 80% of throttle and 0VDC from 80 to 100%.
then adjust the nuts on the carb cable so that the idle is ok (throttle plate fully closed) and that the full throttle is not binding when lever touches the handlebar..
check that the oil pump marker are aligned for the idle position.

To me this is the only way of doing it to be sure that the TPS is correct but this is not exactly how the manual describes it.

can some one confirm or comment as hoxw they did it on their ski?
Thanks for helping
