On Saturday played with starting the '99 GTX. One occasion it fired but then gave up. slight pressure on fuel line at filter (assume fuel pump pressure) Sunday tried again. Replaced spark plugs, AGAIN, and still nothing. I guess that the next thing is to get into the injectors. Checked for spark, and it is good.
So, before I get into the injectors, is there anything anyone can think of to do before that?

combustion requires 3 things. fuel, oxygen, spark.

If the spark plugs are wet, assuming not just oil, then you have fuel there. I would check to make sure the fuel is good as well as make sure its not water that was sitting from the bottom of the tank.

I check this by putting a small amount of fuel on a piece of paper towel and lighting the wet part. If it's hard to light...its no good. I would take fuel from the fuel filter (as that is what would lead to the engine). Obviously don't light the paper towel in your hand or near the seadoo in case you have fuel on you.

Since you have already seen spark, then I would check compression.

water being heavier than gas, if there was any water, it would show in the fuel filter. (you would see the water after gas/water sits for a little white)
I unclipped the fuel filter, with paper to catch the gas. Put a match to the paper and it lit up right away.
