We have put a new 210 engine in our sporster about 3yrs ago along with a new stator. We are constantly needing a tow because the engine turns over but will not run after we have been out a while. Took to a seadoo authorizied mech to have him look at the engine and change out the oil in the M2 jet drive. They said that when the engine warmed up, the port side cylinders stopped firing. They replaced the engine stator and said that was good to go. They didn't call us to OK the repair but we figured as long as it was fixed we paid them. We took it out, engine was at 4000rpm , we were going only 10mph, turned around to head in, smelled gas, engine stalled and we got towed in. We had never had a problem with the jet drive before they worked on it. what could have happened? Stator did not solve our engine problem either. Should we let these guys work on our boat, they want to charge us just to look at it again.
