1998 Sea Doo Challenger 1800 No Beeps, No start

Hello. I am thinking of purchasing a 1998 Sea Doo 1800 Challenger. I has been sitting for over 2 years. We drained the gas, bought a brand new battery and tried to start. Nothing. No beeps, no sounds at all. You can hear the bilge pump. The lights are not coming on either. The horn works. Any help??

start by, checking the fuses

Just had an issue with mine this weekend in the middle of nowhere!

Opened the port bilge and started rapping on the fuse box and relay box ... and the panel came to life and the boat finally started.

It's in the shop to determine if it's a bad relay (ok, I can understand that) or a bad wiring connection (BRP should be on the hook to pay for that fix).

If they tell me it's a bad relay, that will be something kept alongside the spare fuses in the future!
