1997 SPX Complete Part Out

I have a 1997 SPX that I am completely parting out. Ski is complete but I believe it has a bad crank. Pistons look good through RAVE valves. Engine struggles to turn over. Mpem is complete with key/post I get two beeps and power to starter but engine only turns here and there. I pulled the starter from my SPX and connected my battery directly to the starter and I got the same results. I would think that there is a bearing problem but this engine did not grenade and is complete. I have the title to the ski and the trailer it sits on. I may keep the fuel gauge (mine registers3/4 to full always/already replaced baffle...twice) and a few minor other parts. I have never sold anything on this forum but my handle is the same as my Ebay handle and my feedback is all positive. I have a PayPal account but will also except money order/check as long as you allow time for payment to clear before item is sent. I will post pics later today of the ski, the ski in the pic is mine, it is the same ski but completely yellow/stock.

60 bucks shipped. It is in decent shape and after a cleaning would look pretty good. Sorry for my late response, I damn near killed myself pulling parts from the ski in 115 degree Vegas heat.

Interested in one or both of the cylinders. Also would like to know the bore they are at now. Thanks in advance! Shipping is to Kansas, zip 67056

Hood is in great shape with minimal fading. Not sure about the VTS working. I am keeping the multifunction gauge but can sell the hood with vts gauge and mirrors for 140 shipped. Right side mirror is a little scratched. I ordered the tool to remove the Seadoo waterproof connectors so I should have the hood off in the next few days. I didnt want to cut anything. The engine is being sold as a whole, for some reason people pay decent money for a non-working engine. Also I would feel uncomfortable selling the oil injection because I dont know if it worked and would hate for you to install and blow your engine.

They have been going for 500-600 shipping included on EBay and I would like to get somewhere in those numbers. If that insults you I am sorry that's just what they have been going for....go figure?. All im really trying to do is get my SPX on the water and I picked this ski up for a great price and now it is my ticket to a new engine. The engine is already on EBay but I would cancel the bidding if you were interested.

Wow the shipping is going to be at least 40-50 bucks so it may not benifit you to get the seat from me. I have pics of all this stuff on Ebay under my joeyvegas76 screen name. There are pics of the ski as well. I'm definately not trying to get you to go to Ebay I'm not a huge fan of it, it's just easy for me to get my stuff out there and sell it. The seat is in decent shape. With no rips that I could see but there are a couple of abrasive makrs on it. Did you lose your seat? I covered mine myself with no previous skill in upholstery. I found the material on the internet. All I did was search for carbon fibre and it cost about 25 bucks total to have it sent to me. My seat looks great and it has been holding for about a year and a half now. You do not need a special stapler, I used a hand operated one and it punches through nicely. Look at my pic of my ski I also had a carbon fibre handlebar cover made to cover my yellow ugly one. Couldn't be happier with the look and durability of both. I have the name of the company that sewed the cover for me if anyone is interested in contacting them.
