Considering that is the entire bond line and front structure it is going to be almost impossible to fix and it will never look the same.

As noted above, that will be difficult (but not impossible) to fix...depends a lot on your 'glass skills. You're definitely going to have to literally dig into it and expose all the 'smashed' mat, etc..then build your repair Plan based on that. It is NOT simply a case of slathering on some resin and a couple of pieces of cloth...
Do you have the nose piece?

Yes I still have the nose piece. Is it incorrect to go with filler then fiberglass and then gel coat?
 
Brian no. Get a pint of Wes system with hardener and fiberglass hair. Not fiberglass material. Hair . build it back up with that. paint on the wes system liquid with the hardener And lay on the hair. after you get it built back up grind it off and then use a filler Bondo sand it , It will continue to get closer each time .. then primer wet sand then paint it. I wouldn't jel coat it.
