Ok, i just got a bunch of work done but this problem is still going on, i didnt have looked into when i got my work done.
When i am on flat water, i can hit about 35 mph. no where close to top end! at about 37 mph, it starts bogging for about 3 seconds then speeds up again. it will do this almost all day. I read about cleaning the raves and carbs, the carbs i can handle but im not familiar with the raves. how do you clean them??? if there is any other suggestions i am open to any! thanks for any help i can get. i just want this thing to go fast!

Yes, you need to update the fuel delivery system if you have grey tempo lines, do annual rave and water regulator cleaning, I have yet to see a Seadoo this year that
did not need the carburetors cleaned or rebuilt, and SO many people have neglected their skis. SEADOOSNIPE has a complete write-up in his avatar on that engine/ski.

oh...and another thing. I know the fuel gauge not working is a huge problem with these. i bought a new multi guage for it but can not get the old one out. any ideas? also about that, the guy that fixed my ski showed me a little jumper he made for the guage that made it work. he wants to sell a 2 piece wire combo thing for 50 bucks. i will make my own just need to know how:) any help on this to is appreciated!
