Internal o-ring is bad. You will need a new good quality o-ring like OEM or OSD Seadoo and the gasket.

MIKI, side question.....any idea what that tapped hole near the RAVE valve is for? I noticed it on my 787 and was wondering if "something" bolts into that...but what?

Can you post a picture of this "hole"?

The tapped hole is in the photo of the RAVE valve in this thread....look straight down and slightly to the right just above the engine plate.

Also...does that RAVE valve look like it is screwed down too tight (the RED cap?)....is it 3 turns down from flush perhaps? I forget the setting at the moment.

No, nothing goes in that threaded hole. Caps look adjusted correctly.
OK, thanks. Wonder why the hole is there then? Looks like it's in a pretty beefy part of the block....could you use it as a lifting point perhaps...just idle curiosity.

No clue, probably for other applications. The best lifting point is the ring on the headpipe that is already there.

I see them, one on each side of the exhaust. Nothing in mine. Mayb for a different exhaust manifold?

thx miki got the new o-rings and gaskets in today. No leak

the rave bellow had no small spring on it and didn’t see one in the manual so I’m guessing that’s normal?
Thx again

The only retaining spring is the large on at the top of the rubber bellows. Some people put an o-ring on the bottom part of the bellow but it should not be necessary.
