I've had this boat for 3yrs now and finally got it in the water to test it out. Well I couldn't test it like I wanted to because the engine kept heating up. Well after talking a closer look the jet pump had been rigged up with a smaller hose which I believe restricted water flow. The engine in the boat now is a Kawasaki ZXI 1100 engine that will stay all stock for now till I get the rest of the boat sorted out. First thing I'm going to do is change out the jet pump with a brass big hub pump that I got from Jess. Them I'm going to have it professional waxed to try to bring the color back. I'm going to attempt to redo the seats with the kit off of eBay. If I can't I'm going to take it to a upholstery shop and get it done. Next will be redoing the hydro-turf then rebuild of the engine in it or I'll get a core to rebuild for it. I'm not really after speed but more of a boat that me and the family can go for rides in on afternoons off.
